Reminder: Yoo Ninja Plus is an additional version of the original game with new and foremostly harder levels. If you're not looking for quite the challenge, you might want to start with the original.

In Yoo Ninja Plus you play as a ninja (obviously) through oriental levels which reminded me a lot of Japan. The soundtrack and everything has Naruto written all over it. The game contains four themed worlds for you to explore each with around ten levels.

Yoo Ninja Plus is controlled by a simple touch on the screen, you use this to make the ninja jump from ground to the ceiling and backwards. This way, you progress the levels trying to stay alive. If you fall down, you'll have to start over at the last checkpoint, which is always the beginning of the last level you visited. The game really is hard, I found myself challenging each level multiple times before reaching the dreaded finish. If you're not an experienced gamer don't even bother trying this game for it will frustrate you to no end.

Overlooking the simple controls, Yoo Ninja Plus doesn't really offer anything new with each world except a new theme and gorgeously designed two-dimensional worlds. The soundtrack is really oriental and contains instruments like flutes and percussion is also heavily active throughout the soundtrack. If you're looking for a simple action game to kill a few hours with, you definitely should try out Yoo Ninja Plus.
