CastleVille is currently still one of the most popular building games on Facebook. It was not until' this week that I thought of reviewing it! You know, just checking out what the hype is all about. I got kind of disappointed..
In CastleVille, you inherit a deserted kingdom. Well, kingdom is kind of an over exaggeration, seeming your building ground is just a few plots of grass. Nevertheless it's up to you to expand your kingdom and build a triving economy on it. Make houses so you can meet new people, which of course bring with them a lot of quests. Collect taxes, plant and harvest a wide variety of crops on farms and even fish! The CastleVille Facebook game also features a lot of adventuring. If you want to expand your ground you'll always find yourself stuck into a new quest-line.

As you can see the game is really well designed. Slick and artsy interfaces, great fonts, cartoon-like graphics and even your own character customisation. The animations in the game are really great too, I particularly liked the cute farm animals just waltzing through your plains. I just don't understand what makes this game stand out, I've been having this feeling with a lot of games on Facebook recently. It seems developers are constantly having a harder time coming up with original ideas to brew on. If you're looking for a medieval building game with high graphics, good music and an incredible amount of quests you could check the CastleVille Facebook game app out. If you're looking for something fresh, just go with another game..
