In Tetris Battle, the very popular app on Facebook, you get to play Tetris versus players all over the world. The app knows a slick interface, a great deal of customisation options to your blocks (you can change them into cookies!) and a great variety of modes you can play in.
There's the normal 1 VS 1 battle, in which you try to clear your screen as fast as possible and rank up points with the lines you've cleared. If you want to tease your enemy, you can choose to combo. By clearing 4 rows with one block (can only be done with the straight line block) you get to send your lines to the other screen in the fashion of bombs. The enemy can then counter attack by dropping blocks on a bomb.
Next to this mode, which you'll probably be playing the most, there's the battle in which you can play with 4 people at once, a time attack mode and the new arena - a battlefield for Tetris lovers. There's also the rankings. The better you play and more wins you get, the higher your ranking is. Your enemies will be people of the same rank, so don't get discouraged because you're not good enough! Tetris Battle really is a great puzzle app, with lots of features and diversity.
